This is the first time I’ve ever publicly acknowledged formspring’s existence. I frown upon it and am opposed to the entire idea of advertising one’s formspring in hopes for attention and anonymous flattery—
that’s just greedy and self-serving—but I would like, more than anything, to hear people vent their anger and anxieties unrestrained. I love listening to people. Every story, every problem, every hope and every dream that someone grants me the honor of knowing broadens my sheltered (and clueless) perspective on life.
As such, I’m facing an internal conflict as to whether I should make a formspring or not. I think I’m going to stay a formspring virgin for now, but it’ll nag me.
